Somewhere in these lands, Chitin scratched in pacing, the sounds of paper fwipping in rapid success, as one blessed with pictographic memory looked through every tome, every scrap of research, no matter what it was. After all, unless you kill everyone involved with the work, secrets eventually leak out.

And so a hunt of sorts, not for people or legendary artifacts was quietly started, but for texts and tomes, to finally acquire a path that had been denied once. After all, why not simply do the impossible because you could?
