Those that are inhuman, are inhuman... ... and such an existence is not fair to anyone. Not the undead, and not the synthetic. We do not need concessions. Deep within the workshops of Martyr's vigil, an old man's hands have not been idle for quite some time. Knowledge from many places, from a dozen disciplines, comes together to make good on a promise, a goal, an idea that was conceived long ago. Nomul asked once, that if I had this knowledge, why I did not build an army. ... good point. Let's begin. Synthetic flesh is formulated, data gathered from a half-dozen minds. Bones are constructed, tissues lain atop in the image of man. Everything, in the structure and shape of a mortal being. Even the blood of two mortals - of your mother and father, used to shape your appearance and imbue you with the capacity for the most miraculous gift a living being can ever have. Within a tank, you have been kept- in a coma, bereft of a soul, waiting for any little spark of life to find it's way behind your eyes. Your brother, your father, they spoke to you before you were so interred, in your dreamless sleep they would hold your hand and whisper to you fondly. They would smile, though your eyes were closed, for the chance to meet you someday and welcome you in. They will be stronger, faster, more enduring than any mortal man. They will be human, in every way that matters, able to grow and thrive and enjoy all the things life has to offer. They will be my finest soldiers. They will be my greatest creations. They were created with a purpose, a goal in mind... ... yet whether they pursue it, or find their own way, is their decision. What father would deny his child their own destiny? Beneath that outer skin, that provides the illusion of normalcy, you are something else. The exact formulation of your creation isn't quite public knowledge... but... You are a Biosynthetic. You are stronger, faster, tougher. You must eat more, but can go for longer without doing so. You can endure without sleep, air, or water for longer as well, though you will still die without them. Your heart beats, yet it is a black ichor rather than blood in your veins. Your bones are metal, your tissues dark charcoal. You weigh a fair bit more than a regular human does, as well. So what are you? You are a synthetic, created by Grey Aundeoth, Knight-Captain of the Goldlight Order, the Radiant & Champion of Caius. The precise details of your function will be revealed in DMs, however: You have a shadow discount instead of Metal. You have a penalty to Light instead of Bio. You are formed by the blood of himself and his wife, Junnodem Aundeoth, in part, causing you to have pale skin, black hair, and eyes of blue or green hue. You are, technically, their daughter. You are female (Tiche wanted a sibling about her age to talk to about girl things) The foundational information for your consciousness was based upon several solidly trusted individuals of Grey Aundeoth - intended to imbue you with a sense of duty, humanity, and strength of character, including: Garret Richter, Saber, Tiche Alline, Aricles Alline, Christophore Garjin, and Kastore. You possess three other unique and less obvious traits that will be explained in DMs What is desired? Presence, as usual you took a good bit of work to create. You don't have to be on 24/7 of course, but regular activity is desired. Enjoy yourself. You're a brand-new thing, the first of your kind! Have fun with that synthetic nature and your father's explorations into the field that none other has strode so far into. As you were sparked to life by the Aether of Caius, and your father is the Radiant, you have a strong predisposition towards the deity and away from dark magics - Although, ultimately, this is your choice to make. If you decide to serve a different god, your father will not stop you. It is your life. What can be expected from your maker? Your father loves you.  Equipment can be fabricated including unique items, as he is a ranking member of the goldlight order. You will have a family to include Tiche Alline, Aricles Alline, Grey himself, and his son Ricther/Daughter Anna'li. Juno is your mother (when she is around). Many people were fascinated with your creation, and there's no shortage of RP in the republic! You will doubtless be introduced to good friends like Seanius Montelione, Saber, Agne, Nix Bargiel, Bonbon, Camillia Aubreen, and more. As the premier shadow mage in the world at the moment, you'd also be one of the more likely to benefit from any special rituals he devises, and he has the tools to tutor you in the exalted signature if you decide to embrace your umbral heritage. In time, you may also be trained in any shadow-aligned rituals he develops, or given artefacts that only can be used by someone well-versed in the art. If you would like to be trained in telepathy, order, chaos, or medicine, your father will happily teach you these skills as well. Induction into the faith and support in such a way, if you so choose, will be available as well! Caius's faithful are few in number, these days... but your family is Caian. Mostly. Your father has been working on a major project of late (when is he not) and you can expect boons and support from him in whatever way you require. He is an alchemist, an artificer, a healer, and a budding arcanist, atop his many other talents. He is often working upon some greater creation. You could expect a unique item to be made for you somewhat quickly (the other kids got it). You also have a window and access to a tutor to learn runecasting, wayfinding, and even fleshcrafting, occultism, holy and fortuna. The sky is the limit.
