The wilderness trembles as countless demons rush out from the depths of the Crescent Isle, demons take to the forest not to terrorize but to instead spill their own blood against Magical Beast. As Demon and Beast clash, the latter find themselves sick with something primal, the very scent of these altered beast inspiring an unknown ferociousness that lingers in all. 

An evolution.

Or perhaps a regression is a better term.

Magical Beast begin to turn back into proper demons, the work of the legend being undone by new heights of witchcraft.  It starts off slow, beginning to spread like an infection. Bit by bit, they grow in number.

Some of the newly transformed rush to the isle, while others attack villages and plot with renewed ambition.  However, with each skirmish a crest of blood is made. Countless sacrifices for one single purpose.
