Declaration of war issued to the entirety of Meranthe, many nations scrambled in their respective reinforcement. A great deal of troops all across the continent moved to and from tower to tower, intermingling with foreign regions through increased militarization. Such left the realm at the war’s start, eastward to the borders of the Ruby Empire where a crushing defeat decimated the Ten’s Citadel. Since then, a great deal of effort and resources went into increasing the naval budget, a joint effort utilized skilled sailors, marines and Sirenian deployed throughout the entire realm. Similarly, additional fortification went into the city’s defense system through more magical and spiritual means, along with the acquisition of Arcadia, the realm focuses deeply on keeping its many citizens safe.Thus, strong interest turned to the Elzara. Underneath the heir’s decree, recruitment and training heightened, favoring long ranged tactics through the winding, illusionary forests surrounding the capital city.
Rigorously trained in archery, the program lasts three years, with the last one under close evaluation of Heir Luminary Sunsets over Moonlight. When the program has concluded, these fine archers will be recognized as the Elzara’s Ranger Unit.

- Are 18+ years old (no child soldiers, sorry)
- Are expected to use the Ranged Physical Tree
- Will receive a soulbound bow on graduation (est. 1 IC year)
- Start at RPL 180
- Are Faeborne

Since its introduction in 2140, the Ranger Unit has produced two extraordinary women. Led by Captain Erelaehiem who is joined by the fiery Princess Amnestria Caewynn, some news circulates of new training regiments designed to create archers are poised these exemplary women. Once more a decade or so after its inception, Leafblades scour the realm in search of the next featured archers to join the ranks! Despite its lead by Captain Erelaehiem, like many units established at the Heir-Luminary's decree, they oversee a degree of its progression and designed a bulk of the coursework.
