Beneath The Hooves [Doth'ral vs Serenity] - Myradin - 10-07-2024

The recent destruction spreading across the western side of Meranthe was an opportunity for those that had settled at the outskirts of the desert. Past hostilities between the Doth'ral and the City of Serenity finally erupted with the arrival of a lone rider sent towards the city within the southern desert; a rider with a clear demand of tribute to be given forth towards the encampment that had been trespassed upon by those that live in the city.
A clear set of demands were given:
150,000 golden coins.
An honor duel to the death between Natlan of the Doth'ral and Zix Oy-Deniz of Serenity.
Serenity was given until the end of year to submit to the demands; in the meantime that encampment of the Doth'ral had relocated at the outskirts of the city's walls. Any of those bearing the coating of Serenity, or holding allegiance to the city would find themselves harassed by mounted-magi within the desert.

Death had left the city submerged in melancholy. As the living grieved for who was lost. Months of silence followed on a direct response to the demands set by the Doth'ral. Until one faithful night, as their camp was given a message; followed by an official decree.
Quote:"There will be no coin delivered, there will be no death match.""Those of Doth'ral should prepare, for either they leave their encampment within the west; or face judgement."
Embracing the current hostilities, the recovering Serenity rallied their troops and bolstered their defenses. As they prepared for the eventual conflict to escalate.
The encampment, would too find themselves harassed by soldiers bearing the Serenity coating; proxy battles as hostility reached for it's peak.
