Application Expectations and Outlines - Astronomical - 09-24-2024 Hello! Welcome to the Application Guide for Form Abilities - Expectations and a Miniature Outline to help you get started if you’re stuck! This guide is going to highlight suppositions from the appmin team when it comes to applications and what we expect when reviewing them with certain criteria targeted at a number of abilities. This guide will include a miniature outline that is form ability app specific to provide details towards each section that is currently present. This is to inform the community about what appmins typically expect to see, as well as give you (the players) an idea for what to include! So, what do we expect to see in form ability applications?: Appmins would like to see a cohesive story being written between individuals that your character interacts with. This usually helps generate renown and shows off proactivity for your character. Unique/Colorful characterization that is meaningful to the character and their development. For Lore-heavy abilities, we would like to see the character’s comprehension surrounding the magic they are pursuing to learn / apping for, from an IC standpoint. On an OOC level, this does come as acknowledgement that a player also understands the general lore of the ability, coupled with their own distinctive fluff. For non-lore-heavy abilities, the appmins would still like to see some form of development, even if it’s an ability that is considerably minimal (like a master spell, such as a custom stance or mage sight). I know that many players might be confused or lost as to what they should provide in terms of details. Remember - you do not need links to your logs, but summaries of the development instances that are specific to the request.
