In recent times, and under the careful care & eyes of the new Lady Regent and her Heavenly Generals, Xuefeng has had a resurgence in citizens as well as delegations from Sheng itself.
With words spoken of wishing for faith to return to the Regent's beloved village, one Heavenly General has opted to take the reigns of such a feat.

As such, the revival of an almost dead faith, and the return of one yet still growing strong has come to Xuefeng.

The Fourfold Path
is most commonly known for following the ideals of the Emperor of Sheng most closely.
To tread the Fourfold Path is to become better than you were previously, and is a means of learning even a small smidge of wisdom that the Emperor holds - after all, they are his ideals.

Typically, monks of the Fourfold take long, arduous journies to each pillar - a pilgrimage.
Within Xuefeng, however, such pillars have been created and placed within the Shrine.

Family
Family is one of the most important factors in ones' life; an ideal, grand motivator.
After all, love is most strong in most men and women. To uplift one another and see eachother grow gives purpose.

Honor
Most commonly followed by the Samurai.
You must live with honour, you must follow an honourable path.
Be truthful. Be just. Keep to your word and your promises.
Be respectful - not just to yourself, but to your peers.
Even your enemies.

Judgement
To follow this pillar is to think before you speak, or act.
If you learn to think before you move, you will become all the more wiser for it.

Spirit
The pillar of Spirit is to foster ones' inner strength.
To find the courage to continue on. To continue a fight, even when you are at the brink. A veritable hidden well of power and strength.
To hone your spirit is to hone your very being.

Animism
This spiritual belief originates from Izhura, albeit it has long since gone out of favour for the Fourfold Path.
However, practitioners remain - albeit scattered and more quiet.

To be an animist is to be a summoner and spiritcaller both, tasked with benefitting the earthly and spiritual realms both.
The belief stems that both the Spiritual and Earthly realm are more interconnected than those may immediately believe them to be - which is why spirits like yokai tend to come into existence.
To properly navigate both is to ensure a proper connection between; to reduce danger, and increase boon for both spirits and man.

Animists can call upon animal spirits and imbue them within a land to give that land prosperity and to guard it, or as a companion in a weapon or item.
It is not always animal spirits, and eventually, the spirits that are called upon for either purpose will eventually need to part, albeit leaving with the gift of a boon.

Such a practice used to be done multiple times over, repeated over the generations, so that the land and the spirit realm may continue to prosper.

Animists are also useful for the art of banishing tricky Yokai and other similar mischievous or dangerous spirits, and oft work alongside Exorcists in this manner.

There will be dedicated time and days to each specific religion and the paths.

Those who desire a personal lesson, whether it be in the art of Animism, Spirits or Summonings, or of the Fourfold Path are free to send a letter to Yin.

Though she may be busy, she will set aside time in order to answer questions.
