Founded in the name of the Fallen Angel, Azrael, Morningstar is a group (or a cult, depending on your definition) dedicated to the release of the Creator of Necromancy that he might lead humanity to paradise.

They are avid teachers and practitioners of the Art of Necromancy, believing it not just a means by which they can create an army, but a tool to defy the world and enforce their own utopian vision upon all that exists. Their goals, as of right now, are unknown, but they have recently been seen repeatedly and violently claiming 'tithes' of life force from the travelers of Meranthe. Though they are a youthful group, the name has quickly been spread, and there are many who worry just what they may intend to do to accomplish their goals...
