Orders given directly of the demon king, a dispatch of Atrellyan pride to be sent forth into the lands of Meranthe. A beckoning of warriors born of the wolf clan. Forth would they go from the mountainlands they'd inhabited. A place no human would dare enter, nor would they survive attempting such. The time spent upon such a land would see many of the wolf envoy slain and defeated, though not before they'd do the same to those inhabitants of Meranthe. Blood washed over the land and bathed even the innocents in the wake of the Atrellyan force.
Though where many failed one above all would not. An eerie feeling to the land, a rumbling that'd sit wrong within the core to all native. The awakening of a new lord.
One that'd traversed the lands burning all in their path, The Lord of Cinder. The Ashen wolf, Ingolf had awaken.
Word spreads quickly, travelers that'd get within even certain range of the Atrellyan fortress would be oppressed by massive occultic force. The presence of the Lord Sage amplifying such. What could be seen as two walking calamities in their own right.
A word sent forth to those inhabitants of Meranthe from the rising Lord:

Amongst those heads placed upon pikes, perhaps one most familiar could be seen to a certain Coven. No message would be louder than this, The Ashen wolf, not one to be tried and tested...
The Witch Leech would find themselves a sturdy placement upon The Pikes facing forward to that home they'd lived in from the beach. Howls are let loose to the moon, bathed in blood.

Atrellyan forces continue to pave their way, pushing forward a stronghold onto the unclaimed land. Moonfallen envoy can be seen carrying supplies up onto such. At their head, a man- seemingly. Seen about, a mysterious figure surely. Placed amongst the edge of the cliff, built within a clear view of the Atrellyan fortress and the lunar setting. The Ashen Tower had been constructed. Wolves and coven members alike would be seen roaming the area. A slow but steady approach to lay claim to the land of Meranthe. Yet another foothold established in the name of the Atrellyans.
The head of the massive construct revealed as none other than the coming Sage of Destruction. To some, unknown. To some, The Ashen wolf.
Defense preparations are made for those that would think themselves capable of tackling the challenge that had been provided. Wanderers are warned to steer clear. If audience is sought of The Lord Inhabiting, tribute would be required for safe passage.
Word of this is spread amongst the nations.
