Upon the nights I found myself walking through the grass, a person caught my attention.
I don't know what was it, I never learned about these things. You two left too early before I could be guided.

What I do know, is that something in me changed.
Once again, I can remember how is it to entangle your arms on another.
To smile at them, without ill purpose or negativity.
How is it to feel love, to be loved.
I remember what it feels to be human.
Those nights where my dad used to chant songs from the sea.
Or the food my mom prepared before going to bed.

I miss those times.
I miss when everything was simple, when I embraced myself in the love of others.
When my dream was to become a pirate, ruler of the seas.
When I was a kid.

I think you two would be proud of me.
Don't you worry, paradise is in the making.
