An Empire's hold over Meranthe had returned through blood, sacrifice and undeterred conquest.
In the coming days a War Council would be held. One with all of the Empire's leaders in attendance, and perhaps a few additional faces. Ones seen worthy enough.
Civilians wait curiously. What was next, more greed, more lust for power and land? The armies knew of something different however, whispers of some type of puzzle, of a bigger picture. Perhaps these were only excuses to invade. Demons knock on Grimhjall doorstep. Misfortune's Coven heralds his return. And here in Aphros' war room, once friends, enemies gather under single banner.
