Over the last few months, many caravans sporting the Bean Emporium's brand have arrived in Theria with shipments of workers and resources. They've begun the construction of a massive arena, often spotted transporting odd creatures locked with Tyrium cages beneath the building. Now that it's creation is nigh complete, it's creators have begun to spread fliers regarding information of it's purpose, and what you can expect from....The Colosseum.



Teams of three magi will be permitted to sign up, and clash with one another before an adoring audience. The top three groups will be awarded prize money, and on occasion? Perhaps a special reward will be handed out should they perform and entertain exceptionally well.

Seats for observation will be sold off, in order to cover the expenses required to capture, restrain, and care for magical beasts...as well as cover the prize money to the victory. For those who enjoy gambling? We'll have you covered, with the details regarding such to be announced at a later date.

Catering for the warriors will be handled by the Emporium, but any and all chefs and merchants are welcome to sell their nourishment and alcohol between rounds.

Medics will be on hand, but all trained professionals will be allowed to assist those who require medical attention...

When the battles come to an end, and the strongest group stands, the tournaments will always end with...

A clash of man and beast. Should the team win, they'll be granted permission to harvest the beast for it's parts, and use them however they deem fitting. Though, it's encouraged that the local artificers are hired should you find victory, and ownership of these special materials.

(And, of course, should the team get reamed by the monster, trained, professional monster tamers will capture and restrain the little devils!)

This will likely begin in the year of 1674.

An official announcement regarding The Colosseum:

Each year (every week) there will be a new tournament or game with various rewards or prizes.
On the opening day, we will have clashes two teams, three warriors each. No killing allowing during this tournament. 
We'll save the blood for the end, on opening day.

Entry fees:
100 coins to enter.
500 coins for front row seats, first come first served.
Combatants and entertainers get in free.
Medics will be stationed during each of the events, charging five hundred per operation.
Medics offering free services during the events will be kicked out, this is a colesseum, not a charity.

Rewards and prizes:
This, like all other regulations regarding The Colosseum are prone to change from tournament to tournament.
This years victors will receive the glory of fighting a beast, and prize money.
The two runner up teams will be given prize money, as well.
The amount of coin given out will be determined by the amount of coin earned from spectators, and the staff, during the events.
