An odious concentration of essence appear to make it worse,

The promise of a dark ritual ominously hung upon the air, heralding the approach of a coven that once lingered beneath the hidden dance and rhyme of the Wonderland. No longer do they appear to come with the mirage of the mist, instead seeking the limelight of a grander play. Pacts that have been made, alliances that have been forged and deals that have agreed upon resulted in a collection of demons and cultists approaching with a malevolent purpose, headed by a skeletal-winged, youthful leader that have sought a shallow purpose of entertainment.
This dark gathering offered no recourse, no negotiations, no discussions -- simply the revelry of bloodshed and the mayhem to come; for the sake of an unholy patron watching over the field.
Though many may believe it to be a senseless raid,
Darker intentions sat beneath the surface.
