The Cat's Tenth Life - radio - 08-10-2022

Flames spread across the castle located at the head of Aphros, its eastern most wall demolished by a thundering occult blast to allow the blackened helfire that rested within the halls to spread outside and climb the stone exterior. Perhaps if not for access to the outside, the flames would've consumed all within with nowhere to go. A saving grace for all that rested within.
 
The fading spirit of a great lion drawn in the sights of a Demon. Twin heads, maned in fur that moved like fires, the wings of a bat and tail of a scorpion.
 
Victor standing tall above, branding the diminishing demonic presence in chains. Though, the last laugh was to be had by the wavering spirit as a final wave of flames attempted to consume all. If not for the tens upon tens of arriving magi, perhaps the Knight Captain would have found himself dead.

Just as the flames die down all lights within the city of Aphros dim and then flicker to nothing. A whisper seemingly travels on the wind, but in truth it lives already in the minds of all who hear it.
