Quote:Dimmed lighting greets whoever crosses this establishment's threshold. Enough illumination grants adequate vision of rows of wooden shelves containing jars, elixirs, and spirits. Most canisters appear polished down and labeled with descriptive words as indicators. Faint scents of alchemic ingredients waft about, a collection of appealing smells dispersed by burning incenses. Someone usually tends to behind-the-counter requests as well as food orders. Lower-scale furnishings decorate the bottom-level, however travelling upstairs reveals an entirely unique atmosphere. Crimson fabrics cover each seat with a designated sitting area positioned off to one side; it seems to be reserved for those wishing to sit alongside a larger party. Wooden paneling indicates where the stage is set, piano and other instruments waiting to be played beneath their spotlights. Soothing, docile tones of a band might be heard upon arrival, enhancing the cozy space.

A brand-new lounge has been established in the district of Caelfell! It is said to be the passion project of esteemed violinist Priscilla Solenne as somewhere for musical talent to perform on stage.
Refreshments are provided at the in-house bar to give the best experience to anyone looking for quality entertainment and rollicking good times! Weekly events and concerts starring the most celebrated acts are only a taste of what's to come.

Circulars soon spread around throughout Osrona at a hastened rate to promote the long-awaited grand opening of the Siren's Strait Stage! Many have heard through hearsay that the opening ceremony is also a charitable date auction, promising the finest bachelors and bachelorettes the kingdom has to offer. This announcement has garnered confusion from its nonconventional methods of philanthropy. More information can be found within the flyer:
Quote:Music can soothe the soul, and mend the heart. Providing a sanctuary away from the ongoings within the city is our primary focus. This does little for those physically, emotionally, and mentally suffering from transgressions happening in their day-to-day lives. Children without parents and the financially impoverished alike require the spotlight; more than anything else, any loyal individuals who have been betrayed by the system. We strive to raise awareness and funds with this event, all proceeds going towards Sudbury, the Children of Esshar orphanage, and other causes specified at the opening.



Additional details about the grand opening:
  • Dress to impress, if you so wish! There is no dress code, however, masks are STRICTLY prohibited.
  • A cover charge of 150 coins will be issued to anyone interested in entering. Space and seating are very limited! You can pay in advance to Priscilla Solenne to have your name added to the guest list.
  • Light entertainment will start at 6 pm EST (New Year's Day; 1/1/2020), the bidding beginning at 7 pm EST. Patrons are welcome to stay for as long as they like after the festivities. 
  • Information sheets featuring the bachelors and bachelorettes will be provided upon entry, as well as, auction number cards.
  • Location is at the Siren's Straight Stage. The map can be found in the above post.

In the middle of the night following the establishment's grand opening, the outer walls have been tagged by a clearly disgruntled citizen. Through sprayed ink in blood red color, the message simply read: 
HIGH CLASS PROSTITUTION

Given the ink had dried with crimson droplets oozing down from each letter, it seems likely the assailant fled as soon as completing its intended purpose. Words across the commoners is that a certain Hebi Kurokaiyo is the culprit for such action.

The response was prompt. Rather than attempting to scrub away such slander, multiple coats of this same blood red slathered over this vandalism. People might be whispering about this profanity, yet even more watched as this defamation was turned into a nicely-colored accent wall. People are raving about it! Who knew that red could bring out the yellow lanterns’ ethereal glow? One sheet of paper would be nailed right, smack dab in its middle. It read:

Update
After a night of merriment and chaste entertainment, the organizer, Priscilla Solenne, provides a riveting speech to those in attendance. It went like this:

 "Thank you for coming out tonight, everyone. There was a point behind this unorthodox grand opening and charity auctions. We face the dangers outside of these walls and this city, however, more pitfalls exist within the barricades. Sudbury is desolate without a single soul to be found, nothing to be said about where its citizens are, what may have happened to them. People must have forgotten about them and they, as a community, were cast aside. No one has brought this up recently. Not many speak about the orphanage, not concerning the fact these children lack parents. It could be for a variety of reasons, though the most prominent causes are outside forces and the infrastructure within." 

"… Who knows, their family was probably affected by the malpractice of the system. Very likely, seeing the decline in proper procedures. People suffer from multiple upheavals, most internal. I wished to bring awareness to it all. Turn the masses’ attention to these issues, so we can better fix them. I wish to show that attention can be given to the right topics, no, not with violence, but the idea of love, music, and an appreciation for everyone. From all walks of life."




A massive thanks to those who came out to attend! Due to the overwhelming turnout, this charity event was able to raise over 71,000 crowns!

Not only that, the Solenne family heard that the Children of Esshar orphanage was abandoned and applied those funds that same night. Critics amongst the crowds are dumbfounded by such quick application of donations.
