mage trees are different from unarmed though, the whole point of it was for it to be a low cd medium damage tree

16+ seconds is lower than 20-30 seconds minimum... so it is definitely 'low cd'

you have to account for the insane synergy that the tree has with... everything, same with armed

people who bitch about melee trees not being amazing on their own needs to step back and take into account just how good they really are when paired with literally anything else

The pull on it seems really finnicky at times as well to the point that your opponent can just run alongside it, which is soul-crushing to say the least.

That's due to the old code of water beam, because of the v2 of it which makes you buy it a second time. Now the v2 water beam is just default which in all honesty is kind of needed because besides rip tide there are very few water damaging spells.


If anything water beam needs to be reverted back to it's original tile range and have it's damage from v2 remain.

But at no point should we think of enlarging the tiles for all beams as a whole.

Buff Time Beam.

The stun currently doesn't even last as long as the cast, which means that if you use it point blank on someone, they'll be up and active free to move while you're standing there helplessly. What's the point of a spell if you deal X damage and have to take 2X damage in return because you're the perfect target for a counter beam/burst/fatal/whathaveyou?

Prob should put down a 50 second time limit on it's existence since it's possible to stack it. That way, if it does last that long, you only just summon another rather than... Do dumbo things.
