Rumors spread among the students like wildfire. A tournament and Festival of Natasa has been declared by the school's self-proclaimed Fourth House, the Ashen Crows (Lockpicking Club).

The tournament will begin on the new year, 1883AC. Accommodations will be made for entrants who need to start early or late.

(Saturday November 20, 4:30EST)

The rules for it are as follows:

No teachers are allowed.

Only students enrolled at Starfall Academy can enter the tournament.

Interference in the fights is forbidden.

Betting is encouraged.

Blood must be spilled. (Aggressive Encouraged)

You must sign up beforehand to participate in the tournament. (Here's where you do so)

The winner will be crowned the UNDERGROUND CHAMPION OF STARFALL. The house with the most winners will be crowned the CHAMPION HOUSE.

The gathering place for the tournament is announced as the arena inside the sewers with the backup arena being the one above ground. Rumors abound that the who's who of the criminal world will be in attendance.

Very rare and awesome prizes are also rumored to be in the works including:

• A plaque for the winner of the tournament.
  
• A one time voucher to hold Chadwick Dogslayer's hand. (For guiding purposes.)
  
• Rare and powerful weapons and materials.
  

Even if you do not enter you will still have the opportunity to gamble and cheer on your friends at the event.

The bracket has been announced. Non-students wishing to watch must enter through the side entrance in the Starfall sewers.

• All matches are a best of three except the finals and semi-finals, which are best of five.
  
• You have six minutes from the start of your match to post your initial RP's. Move to the side after your match is completed.
  
• Direct your bets to the razuka Fanune.

After a full day of blood, sweat and tears only one student emerges uninjured out of the thirty-eight who entered. The nurse's office of Starfall Academy is full of the grim faces of those who strove for the top but couldn't make it.

The bandit city of Daggermark revealed themselves as a sponsor of the event and trophies have been handed out to the winners. But who knows who will come on top when all of these promising mages come of age?


When interviewed the champion had this to say:

"Another trophy for the collection I suppose. If any of you trash would like to challenge me again I'll accept for 500 coins."
