Ava, but as a DM?
#21
Key/Character: Hades Task
Which Event: Conflict at the Colossal Crossing

Responsiveness: She was able to take the nutty stuff we did into account and still push the narrates out at lightning speed.
Balance: Very challenging fights. And mini-games. Honestly a bit too hard, which is how CoDs should probably be.
Storytelling: Long live Gary. It really felt like the Hildebrand QL minus hilde and godbert and the rest of the storyline. It says a lot that you were able to create a hype event based around one character and a big bridge.

Overall: 9/10 - Looking forward to the other 3 events you agreed to run in your contract.

Additional comments: you took my fucking eyebrows. -1

I figure enough people are RPL 200+ by now that it's safe for me to bump my DM thread!

Which Event: Shimmering Expanse (Expedition)

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): The event had very quick passing and each and every action had weight on the event.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): Very balanced, challenging but balanced
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): Excellent
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Completely Fair

Overall: 10/10 would recommend.

Key/Character: S3ctim/Ubba braveheart
Which Event:  Shimmering Expanse (Expedition)

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Yes. It was very fluid.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): the balance was perfect IMO. Very challenging but balanced.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): yeah it did. It felt like a dnd session to me TBH. I really liked the set up. My only desire would be to have actual decorations for the event for better immertion. But i understand how it can be a pain in the ass to set up.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Seemed quite fair to me. I have no other thoughts on it.

Overall: It was a great event and i really had fun throughout the entire 5-6 hours that we rped. I hope we get more like this.

Any other comments: Not really. To me everything felt perfectly fine.

Key/Character: DIO Over Heaven/ Thorn Meztin

Which Event: Shimmering Expanse

Responsiveness: Avajain was very quick with their narrations, especially taking into account each and every one of our rps!! They were descriptive and made me wonder what could go on as we went further.

Balance: There were two fights in the event and I like how both were handled! It felt like were actually chipping away at a berserking defender and the mechanic where it flashed an exclamation mark before doing its deadliest attack was pretty sick imo!

Storytelling: I didn't know what we were in store for but I am not disappointed in the slightest! AS I said, this was a very nice and organized event. I felt like there was an actual story to it, a fun experience.. I wish we had seen the Ranger once again.

Overall: Solid 9.2/10 !!!

Key/Character
SirPenguin / Theomars Farwalker
Which Event
Shimmering Expanse (Expedition)
Responsiveness
It was cute Ava responded very quickly and with a beautiful pace, the DM did respond to every question I had, and also replied to me when I tossed them a random heart <3 or joke, which I appreciated bc you know, Events can be stressful and it is cute to have a DM that make their best to interact with the players
IC and OOC
Balance
The EC and the traps were quite cute, if you ask me the DM has a really cute system and mechanics to make everything look perfectly cute.
Storytelling
Every scenario was beautifully described and I really felt that I was there, every step I felt like I was discovering something and that I could touch, see, smell, and taste the cutes and vivid scenarios that the DM made for us, plus we had AMAZING and cute music.
Fairness
(Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Well! here, it was fair, my luck is what not good, I blame the /rnd for my reward nothing to do with the DM they did their best, plus I got cute development logs and that is the true reward.
Overall
10/10 very cute, I hope you get that it was cute.
Any other comments: Yes, I asked for them to end the narration with a : ) but the DM ignored my only request, it is relevant for my review? maybe not, does it matter to me? well yes.

Key/Character: Lucian ven Pelleaux
Which Event: In the Bastion of Blue

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Responses were fairly quick.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): The SECOND fight felt a litt;e overtuned, though all of the others were nicely balanced imo.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): The DM didn't really have much to go on when planning the story of the event, but I feel it worked out well!
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?) For the possible rewards? Yes! For what we ended up with? Probably.

Overall: Another banger by the likes of Avajain. I'd recommend her if you're in need of a DM and she's willing.

Any other comments: I don't like the points system!! But, perhaps it just isn't for me. Others might enjoy it.
