Alchemy Suggestions
#1
So, after going through Alchemy for a little bit, and the cashcow that it is, I've got a few suggestions that I think would improve the general QoL of alchemy, and potentially make some unused potions a lot more viable to be seen, whether it's for shits and giggles or for actual use. Also, going to list unused ingredients, so people know if that 'Super Rare' item they have is actually worth anything.

Recipe Changes

Sleeping Potion(T4): Remove the Soothing Reed requirement on it, replace it with Sugarcap Mushrooms or Alessa. Extend the duration to 12 hours, and increase it to 50%. No one in their right mind will make a potion that lasts for four hours, gives a minor increase in energy gain while sleeping, and requires Soothing Reed, arguably one of the two most-valuable non-event reagents in the game.

Reed Bowl(T3): I like the gimmick, but halve the Soothing Reed cost from 2 to 1, or perhaps change the effect to instead simply just halve the effect of all injuries for 12 hours. Battlechads would appreciate a way to reduce their perm injury deductions further, and as it is currently, it's best to just spam Lax Essence or use a healing potion instead.

Fizzy Pop (T1): Can we just reduce the Fairy Powder cost to 2 on this one? With the current requirement of 3 Fairy Powder per fizzy pop, that means a single player must have 30 Fairy powder to max out their energy bar. With today's Fairy Powder 'prices' and it's rarity, that's about 20-30k worth of Fairy Powder. Only the truly indulgent who've been supplied so many resources that Fizzy Pop is nearly worthless to them, currently will be able to make it.

Mandrake's Speech(T2):It's a gag potion, used for shits and giggles. Demon Horns only spawn in area on the map, and this one elixir requires 5 for some reason. Just reduce it to 3 required or something.

Unused/Underused Ingredients

Four-Leaf Clover: This thing literally spawns in only one spot on the map, I'm pretty sure, and it isn't used in any potions in the game at all. Not even Liquid Luck, hilariously enough. Only good for Dev purposes.

Feathers: It spawns all over the plains and has no use. You used to be able to use it to make Swiftness potions, but with Swiftness potions being removed along with Smoke Bombs, it's useless now. So, only good for Dev, unless someone invents a competitor to Dreamline Bombs.

Dragon's Teeth: Cool item, assuming someone could do some fun Dev with it. Literally has no other use aside from Devving stuff.

Demon's Horn: Literally used only for Mandrake's Speech and Charm Potions. Given how this thing spawns, it's fine, but I still feel like it's a less-loved ingredient.

Earth Crystals: Vitality X, Tiller's Joy and Elixir of Healing all require one Earth Crystal. You now know all the uses of an Earth Crystal, enjoy.

minor correction: there's actually a weirdly high number of clover spawns on the map, but they're just all in pretty whack places.

they /were/ worth 500 coins at one point to the npc merchants, which meant that even if they weren't useful as an alchemy ingredient, they were still god's vendor trash. someone said that got lowered to only 1, though, and if that's true they're now a total joke

I didn't know that, hilariously enough. I just know that you can easily find a Four-leaf clover spawn by travelling to the part of the map that shall not be named. I.e: Past Theria's cliffside.

For those who may be thinking, 'Oh boy, there must be a lot of cool stuff over there!', there isn't. It's like, a few sugarcap spawns and like, a poppy or two. Anything good spawns closer to Theria's entrance, before you travel the cliff.

Edit: And yes, just checked. Four Leaf Clovers are worth 500 coins, so, yeah.

there's actually a whole bunch over there, including a fairy dust and soothe reed spawn point, and two rope root spawns, but it seems like it's set to different timers or something?

or i'm just extremely unlucky.

You don't need 30 fizzy pops, as they give 100 energy so you only need to make 5.
