To this, I say 3 words: "That is tough"

I do think its kinda dumb, like, if anything as a kaor your stats should be the same, if your evolution genuinely just makes you weaker and harder to hide behind trees...that's a dumb evolution to have in the first place.

The lesser form is the training wheels- eventually, you gotta take em off and verb like an adult.

Whatever you were trying to say here is swallowed up by the rampant nonsensical approach you've taken.

And I literally play E3.5's first Kaor. You do not help your case, you do not help.. Anyone's case. While I agree that Kaor Form's 10 Vit 10 Pow could maybe possibly be looked at.

You're forgetting that Human Form has its stats as well - And not a soul know how these two work post-timeskip, if they stack, or if Human returns to Lesser's stat pool.

If you're not ready to brave the storm as a Demon, then don't play the race. Time and time again that's what it's been- It's what it'll always be. Suffer, develop, and reach for Human form.

Speaking here as a Demon who's reached Kaor, I've been told in OOC by people before that they would not seek to kill me until I was Kaor. Some people are nice, others are not, most will Dang Cap 0 you while you are a Lesser Demon, but the moment you reach Kaor, everyone who has an IC reason to kill you will probably try it, +30 or +40 RPL above you? It'll not matter, if you get capped on a Cap 1, I wouldn't find it unexpected to be killed by a 'good guy'.

I was surprised to see that my stat bonuses were lowered when I finally reached 180, it's still a nice buff that most people won't have, but other races have their passives as well, and Demons? They have most of the world against them, everyone has their perks.

A Demon doesn't even need to be a murderous or aggressive entity for it to get targetted. Walk across the wrong people? They don't care about words, that's the IC, you're a Demon and must be killed, a danger starts, you will likely lose due to RPL. And let's then say that you managed to win, but you're alone, you getting chain verbed. Don't have a clique who was ready to take you in the moment you spawned? Wait until you get a group and force yourself to walk with them everywhere despite how annoying it can be when they're not around and you're stuck between a high risk possibility or not getting any RP.

I'll say what I said on Discod Suggestions chat, Demon should go through a Trial by Fire, cull them in the beginning, and if they survive? They become powerful antagonists, those who reach Human form would be the most badass dudes. Hurray to those who manage to be lucky and smart to get that far.

I went through so many Dangers without seeking them out, just walking around or standing somewhere, seriously got more than eight or nine temps by now 'you win some, you lose most' I guess.

My main problem is that it doesn't make much sense to give stats to Lesser Demons thinking it'll help them survive. If you want that, give them like a +1 or +2 to flee rolls on rules until they reach Kaor. I won't stop playing my Demon despite that and will continue to develop towards human form whether or not this changes, I've had fun RP with my Bat, anyways, that's all I had to say.

'Human form' is a hidden like another. Based on questions I have asked before, it would be exalted (that's a big maybe, don't quote me on that).

I'm sorry but if you balance a race solely because there is one exalted hidden you can applicate for, then re-balance the whole goddamn game? Let's say 'human form' is the stats boost you get as lesser.. let's say, THAT, is the pinnacle of Demon's strength..

Do you know what can match you? A human with normal racial and wintermute. Boom, you're as strong as a Demon who obtained the 'final-super-strong-form'.

I will make this clear.

I make posts to draw attention on aspects of the game I believe there are problems with. You may not like my way of putting things.. 'ur thing is a mess, it's just pure rage' but at least, now, we talk about it.

If you think there's a problem with something, you shouldn't be afraid to expose it. Before I made this thread, I spoke with several demons who were sharing the same thoughts, I spoke with admins who also thought the current state of demons is sad.. but nobody would adress it so I dropped the first bomb. If you don't like how it's done, then make a suggestion yourself. Okay?

I'm aware that it's always a little delicate to discuss about balance, especially when you're concerned and others tend to judge you because they think you're biased.. etc.. but instead of throwing boring 'uh, you could have worded that differently blablabla' and rep farm, do something that is actually useful and make suggestions. Not only you're a page late for answering the initial post, but we don't need snarky comments like 'if u can't take the pressure, go home' kind of stuff. It's stupid.

To expect people to tolerate Demons is stupid, on both an OOC and an IC level.
OOC, people don't like Demons because they make the game all about them if they get too strong, not to mention their statboosts and general innate power, NOT TO MENTION that they often have a horde of occultists flocking around them as a cult so that they can get the AMAZING DARKNESS EDGE POWERS.
IC, people don't like Demons because they're FUCKING EVIL. There is no other way to say this- demons are inherently evil, and there is no magic, no amount of diplomacy or convincing, nothing that can change that. What do you do to evil beings? You put them down before they can amass power. Unlike most other antagonists (except occultists), Demons can't be negotiated with, they can't be trusted, and they certainly can't be bargained with because dealing with a Demon will ALWAYS bite you in the ass.
If you want to be a unique character while NOT being kill-on-sight, play a Fairy.
