Gloomlight Centurial Ball

Throughout the city of Gloomlight, an unusual stir has been running through its populous. Whispers of hired Musicians and Cooks, of the readying of Architects and Earth Magi, all at work within the large Cathedral. Soon enough, the news of what it is to be would be broken not by the State, but the Montelione Noble House, for what has never yet happened in Gloomlight proper.

It has been almost a century since Aphros set its foot permanently back onto the material realm. It has been a busy century. The Rise and Fall of RISE, the Tower of Aetius infected by void sicknesses, the invasion of Attreyla and the perfect Indras, and much, much more. We have lived and suffered through these things, but living should not just be suffering, but enjoyment too.

Thus to the people of Aphros, Gloomlight, and Meranthe, I welcome you to the Masked Centurial Gloomlight Ball, a masquerade hosted by the Montelione Noble House in conjunction with the Asperean Church. I hope to find you there in what will be an enjoyable night of dancing, dining, mingling, and hopefully, fun! Masks will be provided by our Pontifice and the church, although feel free to bring your own.

(I'm not having a Ball and that Massive Raid on the same day with only a few hours apart   , and if I have to do that, even though I put this date a week beforehand, and much earlier than the other declaration, I will)

(Please however do not treat this as an ICly 'Oh, why are you having the Ball before a giant world ending event!11!'. It is not my fault that Bog scheduled his raid after this one, and refused/was unable to change it to either Sunday, or the days after. I would schedule it to next week, but I wont be around either of those days. My apologies for all of the confusion.)
