This will be short and brief and less exciting than past major patch announces, and a quick summary of what to expect. A more official announcement will come later with further details once progress has been made. This is likely to expand over time as well.

➤ Injury system overhaul

➤ Farming Additions - Giant crops, soil quality, seasonal impact, farmer's scythe, various

➤ Improvements to Scouting & Invisibility: It's now a spell characters start with. If you're still for an extended period, you have a chance of detecting nearby invisible characters that move near you and are prompted to pursue them; invisibility has been removed from ping/pursue lists with this change. (This is laying the foundations for future stealth/detection mechanics in general)

➤ Vitality and Power are now Primary Stats that auto-increase as you level (matching your level). You now use Stat Points on Secondary Stats: Precision (Crit), Dexterity (CDR), and Mana (MP/DR). You get 1 Stat Point every 5 levels, and the stats have been balanced around this.
➤ The X-Booster Cap has been lowered from 50 to 10. It has been simplified to one recipe rather than multiple, and it grants a Stat Point directly.
(When this update goes live, characters will be gracefully re-spec'd on login.)

➤ Expands the Rumor system to include 'official announcements' by interacting with a newsboard, noting the character's name and nation. Along with appearing sporadically like rumors, these announcements are also dated and included in a viewable global timeline.

➤ Temperature is now tracked based on location, season, and time of day. Dynamic snow events are more likely at sub-30f temp, and rain is based on region & season. Occasional flavortext depending on the current temp you're experiencing.

Next?! Probably Necromancy additions & the Energy Magic overdrive feature. 
Tactical Combat is also progressing steadily. Once some important foundations are set, this will be the main development focus again (& is the BIG hurdle for 2.1 in general).
