Suffer not the Thief

Quote:Far off the coasts of Meranthe's eastern beaches lays a small Archipelago. Each one seemingly housing temples to the Architect and their congressions.

Normally these islands are rather peaceful, cut off from most of human society and far away from the dangers. However, one of these smaller temples is not so peaceful.

A shriek came from the end of the halls within the sealed reliquary.

"The Anvil! Saint Miguel's anvil has been stolen!" The place had been ransacked completely. The only clues being a moored ship seen departing with a full crew of men and women. Had the place been looted by pirates? It would seem so. Precious holy artifacts had been shattered during some sort of scuffle and the windows within the hall had been broken into with a meticulously cut hole through the painted glass window.

Help is soon called upon from the other neighboring temple foundries. And thus does a letter find its way to the desk of one Priest within Meranthe.

"It would seem the hammer of the Architect must be brought down on another of the many thieves of your creation." The man sighs, reading through the letter. A note is sent in reply: The Anvil and the other sacred artifacts would be recovered, in exchange for the Anvil of Saint Miguel be kept under the protection of the Magi Priest and behind the walls of Dawnstone.

Although Igneous had to wonder, these couldn't just be your average pirates if they knew where the Anvil was. Was there a traitor within the clergy? Or was this something far worse?
