"We survived the Invasion of the Tribelands...

We faded during the treaty of Hessalia...

But returned with the downfall of Osrona...

And now we rise with the birth of illburg..."

History of the Forgers Clan:
Overall summery
Quote:The original date to the birth of the forgers clan still varies to this day. With some of the current lorekeeper's daring to say that they'd lasted since the great Rhoynish dynasty, prior to the downfall by the hands of the Empire. While others speak of its collection no less than several years before the Invasion of the Tribelands. However, some stories of the past speak on its origins coming during the arrival of the Rhoynish onto Eternia. Gifted by divinity to last in every harsh environment the world had to offer. A collective group of Rhoynish brought to its people.

Progression.

Crafting.

Aware of their natural talent for war, these Rhoynish in particular became; scavengers, for other more notable clans. And although separated by distances too dangerous to travel at times. They'd come together yearly to host a festival where their crafts shine, competitions pitted where Forgers would bring a champion to express the might of their creations. Most battles, to the death, where the winner's champion was concluded to house the most in-genius minds the Forgers ever produced.

And while their Clan retained a powerful presence in the overall growth of Rhoynish Culture. Upon the ascension of a High-Lord amidst the Forgers Clan. All were ordered to return from the locations and reside as a collective unit. Bringing a halt to the creative expression each forger brought with them to the yearly festival.

With an eventual decline in their population, the treaty of Hessalia later became what nearly wiped them out of existence. As the High-Lord was captured during an attempted assassination alongside what the Forgers Clan would've considered. Their greatest minds. The collective itself after the fallout became nomadic, regressing from their golden age of creation to levels that rivaled only a few of the brilliant minds behind the walls of Osrona.

Quote:These are stacked upon the already engraved lore behind Rhoynish Culture:

1. A Forger will always look to progress, a lack of progression means stagnation.
"There are no hands that can forge once rusted."

2. Should a Forger lack a field of crafting expertise, warriors are expected to act as champions. The role of Champion varies, but generally? You drink what's created. No questions asked. Such was how the trust between kin was strengthened.
"If you fear what I create? Than what I made, was not for my people. But my enemy..."

3. Moral alignment within the Forgers Clan is barred only to expectation that, you do not kill your kin. Not dishonorably at least.
"While we can create miracles or plagues... We are still Rhoynish and the Rhoynish carry with them. The honor and will of Njorun."

4. Forgers are generally required to associate with those of influential power. As to best provide their creative genius to another and bring fame to the Clans name.
"Our eyes are more than just golden for the looks of it... What we see? What we create. Are beyond immeasurable, for we've survived while others get by."

5. While it's generally uncommon for a Forger to seek the title of High-Lady or High-Lord. It's expected that should one who dawn leadership. They are unparalleled in all aspects of both Rhoynish and Forger Culture/Clan ethics.
"We who look towards the sky need not  a normal man or woman to guide us. But should the attempt be had, their worth will constantly be tested."

6. Although Forgers work separate from each other, should the need arise, assistance is allowed from outside sources.
"We are humble in our mythology...  It is our blood, our sweat and our tears that brought such an existence to life."

7. Worship of Njorun is highly expected of all Forgers, most importantly. Those of Rhoynish blood. Although it's not uncommon for Forgers to also pay homage to different deities. Most case have been decided by the nature of worship. Most notably known to have been done in-order to bless their work. As it complies with their theories.
"Have you ever drank a rage potion blessed by the will of Njorun? It's nothing of normal levels, you truly feel to be battling alongside his war against Hel."

8. Traditionally a festival is held where all the Forgers gather together and share their creations with others. Bringing with them, a champion. However, due to the heavy decline. Forgers are expected to orally pass on their work, small gatherings held to celebration progression warfare.
"We aren't the same people we used to be, but... We carry in us the souls of the past. The hearts of the many... So let us continue to bond as they would have."

9. A Forger need not be solely of Rhoynish Blood. During the Golden Time of the Clans age, it's theorized that only one-third of their population were actually made up of true Rhoynish blood.
"We're creative minds that bring to war, a different aspect of death. Is it truly uncommon to imagine us pillage a village for their men and woman?"

10. Forgers of Rhoynish blood by nature of nearly going extinct, once. Are expected to make an attempt at providing the clan with multiple heirs if possible.
"We made the mistake by looking to enclose ourselves from the world... It won't be repeated again."

*While this is a clan/guild. Entry is /granted/ only to the exceptional few. This post is to raise awareness of an old clan returning to prominance with the growth of illburg. All inquires pertaining to said Clan. Can be addressed to DecomposedMinon#1600. Before the end of the week I look to fill this entire thing up with an in-depth look at the clan lore from the very beginning during the invasion of the tribelands to the treaty of Hesslia, etc. So please excuse how long it might take me to fully complete this.* I would also like to add, that rbing into a Rhoynish and wanting to be apart of the clan as someone who left from its original location. Is more than welcomed to speak with on details pertaining to the clan in-order to progress down a proper path.
