So, from what I know Su-Zan has a full fledged Faith.
Faith is inherently connected to the Lifestream, and thus it cannot be antithetical to it by it's very nature. (Not to be confused with Holy magic which doesn't care)
Perhaps the Wordsmith practice of Chaos magic and creation does change the way the lifestream flows, deviating things like a weird error in the code of reality- But that isn't inherently destructive or evil any more than creating a Synthetic life form is, as far as I can tell at least.
For the Wordsmith faith version of Chaos magic and worship to be categorized in the same way as Witchcraft? Well, that just doesn't make much sense to me.
This seems like the disconnect between Melidoyla and Catildre, who while they were one-in-the-same were fundamentally different forces upon the world, too.
So- Yeah I see no reason not to allow the Wordsmiths to be Chaos / Animism instead of Chaos / Apostate.
