It is going to take a bit more work and establishment to take something that is inherently negative to the world and is generally viewed as such to be changed rather than just on a whim because you icly view such that way. Similarly to how Holy and Occult are no longer viewed as good or evil compared to the older iterations of eternia, because they are mostly magics based on positive and negative emotions, someone bad, similarly to the prior example of Ryan Kyros, a necromancy having lich also used holy magic, whereas occult can be used by people who have good intentions, but have gone through lots of trauma that heavily plays into the negative emotions that influence occultism.
Nobody is really saying 'this can't become x thing in time' but even the people you are working with icly are wary and skeptical of Su-Zan and what they are doing because of the past examples like Catildre who you directly view as the one you worship in this sense, to others that are currently front and center to a chaos plot that the intentions behind it are to entirely rewrite the world with chaos as their method. I've icly supported Su-Zan's efforts to make Chaos be something that isn't inherently seen as bad, because it is icly also one of the forces of harmony and my character believes that it can be used in some form of manner for good depending on who uses it.
But it's going to take more than 'this is how I see it' to establish something that is as lore changing as inherently changing what the core of Chaos is, even if you wish to worship it differently.
