I'm going to chime in here: While your frustration at its removal is somewhat valid- change, after all, is a bad thing- but I'm going to point out a very small, very tiny detail-
I can, immediately, off the top of my head, think of several people for whom the removal of /rpp has made a dramatic change in the enjoyability of the game- so much so that it has BECOME a game again, instead of a chore. I'm going to quote something in Botanist's post-
We shouldn't feel like we HAVE to hit a certain amount of checks each day. It's totally alright if you feel that way! But it isn't a healthy way to play the game, and while I'm certain I won't be able to change your mind, you can damn well be certain you won't change my mind, or all the other people the removal of /rpp has helped.
