How are you thinking seasons would be handled in the likes of Aphros? Half of it is an Autumn biome, the other half bathed in purple.
Seasons are going to:
- small decals that only appear depending on the season, in specific areas (for example, during winter, vdalion's region will have snow piles, roaming butterflies in aphros during summer, etc)
- fauna/enemies that only appear depending on the season
- seasonal herbs
- some crops will grow quicker during certain seasons. berries in summon f.ex
The ground tiles won't change, but there will be very obvious visual, mechanical, and text cues.
This is a system that will be prioritized after the Big Update, most likely. Maybe even for it. We'll see!
