This isn't about playing a spider mutant. If I wanted that I would. I even stated that at the end of the post. Maybe you should've read it. 

I'm talking about adding more to the lore. Rebooting a race that needs it and giving it the same treatment that the cat people got. 

Cat people used to be a fetished race then they got brought back in SoA and now they hardly get played. Same thing will happen with Arachne. It will blow up at the start then die down.

I don't know how to explain to you that Cat People and Driders aren't the same thing and are not really comparable as examples
