Transitioning away from ability apps

For commends, I've only ever given out one in 700h, and to an antagonist. Only received one. I don't know how liberal other players are with theirs, but for me they're for the really stand-out, always-remembered stuff, or similar. I'd feel pressured to use them whenever it's off-cooldown if people have got their sigs on the line, and feel discouraged from commending an already-sigged player if I could instead provide to newer PCs.

Faction rank - I play an independent, so I already can't take part in faction armor/cloak stats, sigs being part of it is... Entirely something I do not hope for.

Influence - a bit similar. Aside from my influence having been wiped twice in the last 2 months (~17k influence generated while being rank 1), my character spends a lot of time traveling and interacting in different settlements. I dislike how influence is presently generated - discourages interacting with players outside your town.

The rest sounds okay to me. Though I haven't been able to do any events.
